"My pieces are sensually coloured, often highly sculptural artworks with a special surface feel of paint and texture. I indulge in the process of building up texture with plaster, acrylic gels
and paint. As a result, I manage to create almost physical artworks with a sculptural, three-dimensional presence.
I want my pieces to be both - understated in their minimalism and reduction and yet highly aesthetic.
In an overwhelmingly busy world with an ongoing stimulus satiation, I‘d like my artworks to stand for themselves and display a unique sublimeness, sophistication
and contemplative aura. Thus, the viewer is enabled to find tranquility and calm."
